Building Your Foundation for Fitness is a 5-week workshop that will help you build a solid foundation for YOUR fitness goals.
Because fitness can—and should—be fun. Because your body is designed to move. And because building a foundation that creates a framework, stability, and a solid base from which to grow, is a smart thing to do. (And I know y’all are smart.)
A solid foundation will:
- Allow you to grow and build your fitness goals in a safe environment.
- Provide the support you need when things get tough.
- Arm you with knowledge and information—about yourself and the process you’re going through.
- Enable you to recognize and listen to your own voice; to filter out extraneous information; and recognize with clarity what’s right for you and your body.
Oh, and the most important element to this foundation? You. That’s right, YOU.
The foundation you build is yours and yours alone. Customized and unique to you, for your personality, your goals and your dreams.
who’s it for?
- New-comers into the world of fitness.
- Those who’re tired of starting and stopping (and starting and stopping) a fitness routine that doesn’t quite stick.
- Veterans feeling stuck in a current routine (that’s not working anymore) and seeking change.
what's on the agenda?
- Defining fitness and what it means to you, and why being fit is important to you.
- Uncovering your fitness personality. Yep, we each have a unique fitness personality. You’ll gain insight into what yours is.
- Working out a plan that takes into consideration the rest of your life. I know, novel, right? (We so often dive into a new routine, forgetting that with one change, everything else shifts, too.) So we discuss time, energy and other obligations in your life.
- Uncovering your key motivators and how you can leverage these toward building a plan that’s sustainable.
- Community. Your tribe and support system. Who’s in your corner? We’ll talk about creating a tribe that helps you (and address key red flags for spotting those who don’t)
After completing the workshop, you'll have a customized working plan for a sustainable, healthy and fun fitness lifestyle that works.
how does it work?
Building Your Foundation for Fitness is a brand new 5-week workshop conducted over the phone (much like a conference call) and via email.
- One phone call a week for five weeks.
- Educational, encouraging and motivating emails between calls.
- Small class size (limited to 10!) to assure a nurturing and supportive community, offering customized, individual attention.
- Home action items designed to keep your momentum moving forward.
- Inaugural pricing. You’ll be intimately involved in contributing to the development and evolution of the workshop.
