Happy Spring! March has been a busy month here. Here are a few highlights:
- Love Your Body: The Workshop launched and is going well.
- 31 Days of Adventure re-launched at SXSW and created a facebook page for y’all to share your adventures. Now whenever you sign up, you’ll receive all 31 prompts in your inbox beginning the very next day. (And we’re cooking up new adventures, so stay tuned!)
- I finally went down to Austin for SXSW to see what it was all about. And yes, it’s crazy and also a ton of fun.
- Lastly, I have been busy working on expanding Expand Outdoors. If you’d like to help, you can! Here are a few ways: tell your friends about it, like me on facebook, or sign up for the monthly newsletter.

recovering from injury: my journey
During the adVANture, I sustained a couple of injuries that sidelined my running and climbing for a long time. I’m getting back into climbing slowly, but surely (hooray!). Running, however, has been a whole other story that I’ve begun to write about here.
guest posts
I hosted two amazing guest posts this month:
- Understanding the Technical Design of Women’s Outerwear, by John Rivers of WinterWomen.com
- Ceasefire: How I Found Peace With My Body, by Jefri Franks of You In Bloom
I was also honored to be asked to write a guest post for Winter Women on the mental blocks that can keep you from making progress in your sport:
